the proposal is a cute movie to watch together, but if you want action i'd suggest transformers 2.

I really loved Marley and Me. Cute, warm and fuzzy and my husband liked it too.

We also love the Bourne movies.

How fun. My husband and I watch movies together all the time. I always love using our cute little "Popcorn" bowl that we got as a wedding gift from my friend. I think it makes it that much more special.

My husband and I love to watch flicks from the 80's like The Goonies, Say Anything, Rocky (all of them) and if only we could track down The Smurfs on DVD!

oooh the SMURFS--now we're talkin! how come they haven't come back with a digital remake of that yet? It's a shame!

The Smurfs - they have the DVD'S out! My oldest LOVES watching them!! Charade with Carey Grant & Audrey Hepburn is always a good couples movie. =)

My husband grew up in a trailer park in Washington state and they couldn't get any reception with the rabbit ears so... the channel that the Smurfs came on was the only one he got so... he has a lot of memories around the Smurf cartoons, the Chipmunk cartoon, and Johnny Quest. I grew up here in Nevada and fortunately we got TV reception just fine so I loved all these plus a lot of other cartoons. This gives me a date idea!

My boyfriend and I love to have "themed movie nights". We'll watch movies with the same actors in them, all Vince Vaugn, Ben Stiller, etc. It's fun to pick out the movies together and who doesn't love a good theme? :)

Just found the blog and it's already changing my marriage! Around 11pm every night this week I've been having a craving for popcorn and milk...it's become a joke between my husband and me. Unfortunately, we're already in bed when the craving pops up. So...I decided to make a movie/popcorn date night to satisfy my craving for popcorn & milk and his craving for movies. Here's the poem I left along with 2 of the printed tickets and a popcorn 'bag'

ADMISSION FOR TWO
You can make all my dreams come true, to share a movie and popcorn with you!

Let's put on pajamas, you can wear silk, and we will each have a big glass of MILK!

Whatever the movie the choice is yours, as long as we're together behind closed doors!

Admission: 2 tickets and popcorn bag
Showtime: approximately 7 pm following supper and clean-up
For questions, call: ###-####

He got a kick out of it and we had a great time together after work on Wednesday!
