Okay... after a RANDOM pick, Katie Wallace has won the Chocolate Monopoly giveaway!

Congrats, Katie!!

Thank you to everyone who participated and posted my button...and thanks for following!

And, hey--I need a little help with ideas for stocking stuffers for my hubby this year? Anybody have any great ideas from past years or what you're planning this year? (my husband will appreciate your input...)

My husband loves to get a magazine in his stocking. And then it's the same old stuff. New toiletries, candy...I could really use some ideas too.

hmm.. I have done the Time magazine in the past as well. He has enjoyed that. And I'll usually do a box of Life Cereal (by hsi stocking)...it's his favorite, but I refuse to pay $4/box which is pretty much eaten in one sitting. So, I save it for Christmas.

I'd definately interested to hear from anyone...please comment if you have an idea!

I usually put movies or cd's in my hubbies stocking.

This year I got my husband the movie we watched on our second date (we went to the drive in) as a stocking stuffer. I hope he likes it. Last year he got a pair of glow in the dark, Chirstmas themed shorts that said "What happens under the Mistletoe stays under the Mistletoe". That would be more awkward if you had older kids but with just a baby it was a fun surprise for him.

I like to fill his stocking with all his favorite treats. I always pick a specialty drink. (He lived in Francy for two years so sometimes I get him drinks they have there.) I also try to get his favorite chips, chocolate and candy. Every year we find random things that make us think of one another or are just funny. One year he bought me a whole pineapple because it was on sale. That same year he bought me onion ring powder mix. Like I said, random. I'd post a picture if a could.

I saw the name "Katie" and I about screamed out loud. Then I scrolled up and realized it wasn't me. Sad day, but congrats to the actual Katie who won!!

aww...sorry Katie!

and, dvds are always good, too. we usually do that.

A pineapple---now that is funny! I would love that. Hubby hates pineapple, though....so I'm guessing he won't think of this.

The mistletoe shorts are pretty funny, too. hehe.

Cher-I wanted to let you know I saw some of the chocolate games at Target (in Texas) yesterday. They were in the Christmas candy isle.

If your husband is into his technology, but you need something a little less expensive for a stocking stuffer, I just found a ton of great "skins" online. They make vinyl skins for laptops, cell phones, iPods, etc. that are durable and easy to stick on.

Tons of really cool designs!

OOOOhhh sooooo excited about this! Thanks for the giveaway!

I'm planning to do toilettries in my hubby's stocking (shaving cream, Axe spray), I Am Legend on DVD ($2 at Walmart on Black Friday!) and some other stuff...not sure what yet though.

Oooh...skins. Good thinking, Rebecca!! My husband has an iTouch. He'd probably like one of these.

Thanks, Danielle. All you Texans--get to target!!

This year I am putting his favorite treats in the stocking, along with a t-shirt of his favorite football team, and a cd with a new song that he really likes.

How about some homemade/semi homemade things like bookmarks with sweet sentiments (if you start with paperclips they make great "flags" for important parts of textbooks), a personalized deck of cards with suits like "reasons I love you", favorite dates we've been on, places to visit etc? You can also melt chocolate, and pipe it onto parchment paper to make his initials, or shape and bake cookies into his initials, and words like love.

PS: I justfound your blog andIthink it's great!

oooh...good, clever thinking Single Girl!! I like the personalized deck of cards idea, especially!
