My favorite Valentine memory is that exactly three years ago on Valentines day I met my soon-to-be husband. What I didn't know then was that he had admired me from a distance for the past three months and only then had worked up the courage to talk to me. We started dating a week later, and have been together ever since. <3

I love your blog. It's so nice to have something to excite and renew your marriage! I'm loving the towel and cupcake holders too! My favorite valentine memory was being a child. My mom always made it so special. She always would make a nice dinner and a huge sugar cookie with our name on it. I have passed the tradition onto my kids!

2. My favorite VDay memory was from the week of Valentine's Day 2 years ago. On the 10th we got engaged! And then on the 14th I came home to my apartment to find that my {now} hubby had gotten my roommates to let him in so he could "shower" me with reasons he loves me. My floor was covered with foam hearts, each listing a reason that he loves me. Adorable!

My best Valentines day memory was when my husband (a complete stranger at the time) bumped into me on campus at the university on his way to class. I was carrying an armful of roses and chocolate to deliver to my roommates. After frantically explaining that they weren't for me (I wanted him to ask me out) he helped me deliver them and we ended up spending the rest of the day together. That was the first time we hung out, we went on a date just a few days later and less than a year and a half later we were married! I don't know that I will ever be able to top that day.

My favorite Valentine's Day was simple but memorable: my first Valentine's Day as a wife. My husband and I had just returned from our honeymoon (married on Feb. 3rd). We ate dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant and simply exchanged cards with our heartfelt thoughts about how special it was to have each other FOREVER. Of course, I still have those cards!

My favorite Valentine memory occurred not just on Valentine's Day but on every day I worked for the first couple years of my marriage. I worked part time as a LPN at a local nursing home. I worked the 3 to 11PM shift so with my hubby working days we didn't see alot of each other. He got some heart shaped sticky notes and would write me a love note and stick it inside of my scrub pocket. As soon as I'd start my shift and reach inside my pocket I'd find my heart note. This kept up until illness forced me to have to resign my job and stay at home. Now its my turn to do the same for him...big smile.
Happy Valentine's day and thank you so much for allowing me to participate in your drawing for the darling towels and baking cups. Too cute!

My favorite Valentine's Day was back in 1999 when my husband and I were dating long-distance. He was scheduled to visit and I had been waiting quite impatiently all day for him to arrive. He called me at 4:30pm to say he was just getting on the road...and he lived more than 4 hours away. I was so sad because he was going to be there so late. Ten minutes later, the doorbell rang and I answered the door to a big bouquet of flowers carried by HIM! He had called from down the street (this was before cell phones) and had driven all the way there with the flowers in a cup of water.

It's no wonder I married that man!!

I love your blog and I am now officially following it!

My favorite Valentine's Day memory was last year. I had just suffered a divorce from my high school sweetheart/husband of almost 9 years. It was going to be my first one alone so instead of sulking I decided to take advantage of Papa Johns heart shaped pizza, poured myself a glass of wine, lite some candles and rented "Nights in Rodanthe". It was one of the best nights of my life and for the first time I felt ok with being alone by myself and taking care of me for once.

The next day was Valentine's Day so my sister invited me over my brother in law, my sister, and I all bought bicycle cruisers. Rode our bikes down to the lake and then my brother in law made us a wonderful steak dinner.

I will never forget that Valentine's Day Weekend!

So ladies remember if you are alone this Valentine's Day there is someone out there who loves you and that's you!

the ONLY Valentine's I've ever spent in a relationship was last year with my Fiance, a month before we got married.

And, it was lovely! however we were both very sick, and wanted to spend the day out anyway, and I ended up passing out. When I woke up, there were a few wonderful elderly people propping up my feet and dabbing my head with a wet towel. And the first thing I heard was my then fiance sounding worried, asking if I was ok. I love him, and that was the best Valentine's day ever! so many people showed so much love and charity.

Hello!

My favorite Valentine's date/memory was with my former boyfiend. He picked me up at my house sharply at 8pm. He didn't tell me what we were doing so I was soooo nervous!

He blindfolded me!! and drove us to our destination. He guided me out of the car. We went up the elevator and walked into another room. Finally he took the blindfold off...we were standing in a hotel room where the table was set up to the nine's with lobster (my first time eating it!), candles, roses and rose petals everywhere. My mouth totally dropped! He was not only thoughtful but he decorated and thought the entire thing up on his own. It was totally awesome! <3

One year, we wanted to do something for valentine's day, but we worked opposite shifts and his hours were very late. He took the day after Valentine's day off, and we dressed up nice and went out to dinner. Because it was the day after and in the middle of the week, the place was empty and we were treated so special. After we went walking around some cute little shops by the restaurant. It was great feeling like a "couple" and not mom & dad for a day!

Back when we were newly wed we rented a "hot tub" suite at a local hotel for valentine's day. I bought some special bubble bath and poured the WHOLE bottle in... (I missed the little sign) Five minutes later the room was filled with bubbles about 3' deep! (aparetly the jets make them REALLY bubble.) We were on the back side of the hotel so we decided to "shovel" them outthe window... apparently we didn't look down...the hoel manager's truck was parked under there... we burried it in vanilla scented bubbles... we were so busted!

My fav Valentine's Day was last year-The hubs and I weren't buying anything, so I did the 14 days of Valentine's for him and put a cut-out heart with "1 Thing I Loved About You Today..." Written on it. (With, of course, one thing I loved about him that day.) Then on Valentine's Day I did a scavenger hunt for him ending with some $2 chocolates from Wal-Mart...That were sooo disgusting. But it was ok because he used an old gift card someone had gotten me for Christmas and bought me a pound of Sees Candy! It was fabulous!
